The NutriMicro Practicum Activity, organized by the Life Sciences Department on May 31st, 2024, was a resounding success. During this activity, 4th-semester students assessed the health status of the community, analyzing and interpreting data using various software tools to strengthen their knowledge in nutrition epidemiology. They also presented models of industrial-level fermentation processes, enhancing their understanding of food microbiology.
Meanwhile, HND 6th-semester students contributed by presenting nutrient-rich complementary foods for babies aged 6 to 8 months. They developed innovative recipes to support this initiative, showcasing their skills and creativity in promoting infant nutrition.
This activity not only provided students with valuable hands-on experience but also made a meaningful contribution to community health awareness and infant nutrition.
